«Artventure Around the World» (01-05/07 or/and 29/07-02/08 or/and 12-16/08):
Let your kids embark on an art-venture, discover the world and explore different artistic techniques. On the agenda: a variety of workshops to immerse our globetrotters in different cultures. Inspired by stories, music, images or objects, they’ll sail from one continent to another and create a series of artworks (objects in paper, clay or mixed-media, textile art, painting on canvas and cotton paper, azulejos, calligraphy, origami…) in a joyfull atmosphere and under the guidance of a professional artist. Their creations will be presented at an exhibition on the last day of the camp.

Friday: Exhibition set up (Opening event from 15h to 16h)
«Our Little Art History» (08-12/07 or/and 05-09/08 or/and 19-23/08):
Let your kids embark on an art-venture throughout art history. From first artistic discoveries to contemporary art, they will explore various artistic techniques in a joyfull atmosphere, under the guidance of a professional artist. Objects, sculptures, drawings, paintings, collages, video and even an art performance will be created and presented at an exhibition on the last day of the camp.
Monday: Prehistoric Art
Tuesday: Antiquity and Renaissance
Wednesday: Modern Art
Thursday: Contemporary Art
Friday: Exhibition set up (Opening event from 15h to 16h)
Language: English, French.
Price including material and a snack. Lunch break from 12h30 until 13h30. Kids can also bring their lunch box and enjoy it on site.
About the teacher:
Sandrine is a French-Vietnamese artist who graduated from the Nice (France) Fine Arts School. Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in Asia, Europe, and the United States, including the Singapore, Shenzhen, and Macau Biennales, the contemporary art centers Yerba Buena in San Francisco, Ke Art in Shanghai, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, ARKO in Seoul and The Mistake Room in Los Angeles… She has also taught visual arts in several international schools and has accompanied high school students in their preparation for entrance exams to art school. Sandrine has been living in Lisbon for 4 years and founded O Gabinete de Madame Thao. She will be assisted by Betty, Carolina and Charlotte.
